Kendrick G. Robinson
Kendrick G. Robinson was one of the first to invest in me—and in BeeSeatedHere—when it was still being built one Sunday dinner at a time.
We met at work.
One day, Kia and I were at a work event when she casually shifted the course of things. “Brandii can cook,” she told Kendrick. “She cooks Sunday dinner—Southern food. It’s delicious. You should come. Brandii, invite him over.”
I looked at her like, Girl, I don’t invite everyone to my house. Especially from work. I smiled and said, “Yes, you’ll have to come.” Kendrick, steady and unfazed, replied, “I look forward to my invite.” I smiled, walked away, and filed it under “we’ll see.”
A few months later, it was 2020. Covid had us locked away. Sunday dinners had become both refuge and rhythm. Kia nudged again: “Brandii… you really should invite him.” This time, I did.
He came—and never really left.
Kendrick joined the rotation as one of the Brandii Bistro taste testers, showing up with an appetite, curiosity, and an eye for what could be. As Sunday dinner attendance grew, he’d sit at the table asking guests, “So how long have you known Brandii?” and joking that I must have required him to complete a credit check before he ever got a seat.
Behind the laughter is a deeper truth: Kendrick didn’t just show up for the food. He showed up for the vision.
Kendrick isn’t just family; he is foundation. The kind of man whose presence settles a room without raising his voice. Steady. Wise. Gifted beyond measure. For those of us blessed to do life beside him, we know—he’s rare.
He listens like a vault, moves with intention, and carries himself with a quiet confidence that never asks for validation. His work, his word, and his walk speak for themselves.
In every season, Kendrick shows up not only as a cousin or brother, but as a partner in purpose. He dreams big—but more importantly, he executes. He was one of the first to invest in BeeSeatedHere, offering belief, support, and stability when the dream was still finding its shape. When he wins, we all rise.
What Kendrick brings to the table isn’t just brilliance—it’s integrity.
He shows that you can stand on truth and still soar. That you can be loyal and still lead. That Black men can be soft where it counts and strong where it’s needed most—present, protective, and unwavering.
This seat at my table? It’s Kendrick’s.
Because BeeSeatedHere is built, in part, on men like him—the ones who accept the invitation, commit to the journey, and quietly help turn Sunday dinners into something much bigger than a meal.
Kendrick invested early.
He believed consistently.
And his presence will always be part of BeeSeatedHere’s foundation.
